As it is known, the Turkish cuisine is one of the richest cuisines in the world. My aim of publishing this site is to impart recipes from this rich cuisine which ingredients are not too expensive and easy to cook and to enrich this site with your remarks and suggestions. If you cook the recipes which are easy and has been tested then I think cooking might be the best and relaxing spare time occupation.
Some people think that cooking is not everyone’s cup of tea. Some say “ I can’t even cook an egg”, another one says “ I work eight hours a day and I really don’t want to stay in the kitchen in the evening.” And there are also people who say “ I clean the house, do the washing, take care after the children, how should I find the time to cook a complex meal?” But if you cook the recipes which are easy and has been tested then I think cooking might be the best and relaxing spare time occupation. As it is known, the Turkish cuisine is one of the richtest cuisines in the world. The Turkisch cuisine starts in the east of Turkey and ends in the Aegean coast. Every cuisine has a different taste and is prepared differently. For example, meat which is an important part of the eastern cuisine is rarely used in the Aegean cuisine and of course has the way of cooking also an impact on the appetizers. There is a joke about it. One asks someone from the Aegean “ why are the cows here so thin?” And the man answers “ Because of the people living here. The poor cows can hardly find anything to eat because of them.” My aim of publishing this site is to impart recipes from this rich cuisine which ingredients are not too expensive and easy to cook and to enrich this site with your remarks and suggestions. Of course, I am not a professionel cook but it has been always a pleasure for me to cook meals from different regions of Turkey for my friends . If there are any mistakes or something is missed out in the recipe, of course I will try to avoid mistakes, please forgive me. |
