Ingredients:500 gr Leeks 1 Carrot 1 coffeespoon of Salt 1 ½ coffeespoon of Sugar ¼ glass Rice ¼ glass Olive oil Water
How to prepare: Wash the leeks, carefully remove the outer leaves and cut the leeks in approximiately 5-6 cm long pieces. Wash and peel the carrot and cut it into small pieces. Put the olive oil into a pot and fry the carrots in it for a short time. Add the leeks, sugar, salt and the water into the carrots. When the water starts to boil add the rice into the pot and let the leeks and carrots cook until they are tender and done. Take the leeks on a platter and serve the leeks cold.
